“Strong Men Getting Stronger”

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” ~ Isaiah 10:27

Through the power and anointing of God the Father, the Abundant Life Church of Erie are committed to building and equipping each other in the things of God. Through fellowship we believe that the yokes and bondages that hold us back from moving into true manhood are continually being destroyed off of our lives by the Father’s anointing. Those men who commit to this ministry are held by each other to the following:

1. Having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Honor Jesus Christ through worship, prayer and obedience to God's Word in the power of the Holy Spirit. We do this through our attendance in a local ministry, supporting the church with our offerings, and exercising our spiritual gifts by becoming involved in ministry.
3. Pursue vital relationships with a few other men, understanding that every man needs brothers to help him keep him accountable.
4. Practice spiritual, moral, ethical, and sexual purity.
5. Build strong marriages and families through love, protection and biblical values.
6. Honor and pray for our leaders.
7. Reach beyond any racial and denominational barriers to demonstrate the power of biblical unity.
8. Influence our world, being obedient to the Great Commandment (see Mark 12:30-31) and the Great Commission (see Matthew 28:19-20)
